Responsibility is present in everything we do at Foodduck – we always strive to give more than we take. Manufacturing high-quality devices domestically requires strict recycling standards and enables fast deliveries without long transport routes. A small carbon footprint, a high recycling rate, and the job satisfaction of our skilled personnel are key indicators of our responsible approach.

FOODDUCK® spread dispensers are designed as lifecycle products, with circular economy and sustainable development at the heart of their use. The devices are never sold, but always leased to customers according to a product-as-a-service model. Any repairs are the responsibility of the manufacturer and are carried out as effortlessly as possible – ensuring that devices remain in circulation for as long as possible and that components can be reused whenever possible. Responsibility also means selling only what the customer truly needs. We always support customers in selecting the right solution and provide thorough guidance in its use. At Foodduck, we focus on customer-oriented and professional service – on moments where we are genuinely present.

Sustainability is at the core of everything we do, and our goal is to minimize environmental impact at every stage of production. We use as little packaging material as possible, recycle devices at the end of their lifecycle, and ensure that our products promote a circular economy. Our advanced technology ensures efficient use of packaging and reduces food waste to almost zero, supporting sustainable development on a global scale and contributes to minimizing food waste from spreads. Foodduck is proudly a Finnish company, and domestic production is a guiding value in our operations. Our way of supporting Finnish work is to source expertise from Finland and employ people locally. The FOODDUCK® spread dispenser is manufactured in Naantali, where most of the device’s components are produced and the final assembly is carried out. Production involves the expertise of numerous subcontractors, the majority of whom are based in Finland – helping keep transport distances reasonable. The margarine used in the devices is also entirely Finnish, and the spread packaging is handled in our own factory in Naantali.
